Obviously having the pressure still there would be best for response, worst for the turbine blades. Having all the pressure bleed off after every shift would be good for your turbine blades, bad for response after you hit the gas again. So adjust it in the middle and it will bleed off some of the air, but keep some pressure in there. Try this- open your valves all the way so it bleeds off any air over 0 psi after you let off the gas. Your car will be sluggish after each shift (that's how mine were when I bought them) Now tighten them back up and feel the difference in response after shifts. Bleeding off all the air as fast as possible is not what you want to do.
